"
After having participated in many design projects spanning a variety of products, I learned firsthand that a great product experience starts with a great team, and a great team understands and practices empathy, communication, and collaboration at every phase of the design lifecycle.
As a designer, my design philosophy is to prioritize people, solutions, and results over aesthetics, but I still strive to design good-looking UIs. Thus I see myself as a User-Centered, Solution-Oriented, and Results-driven designer. This mindset keeps me aligned with the end goal when tackling challenging projects. In my collaborative work with other designers, software engineers, product managers, as well as marketing professionals, the main objective is to realize ideas that simplify complex processes while making them transparent for the end users.
While my day job is crafting UX designs, I also consider myself a multidisciplinary designer/artist. From an early age, I have had a strong interest in many things relating to science and art. I enjoy engaging in unique projects where I can experiment with design concepts and various technologies that not only inspire creative thinking but also involve problem-solving.
When I'm not immersed in a design project, I keep myself busy creating artwork using traditional and digital tools. I also enjoy experimenting and tinkering with electronics, 3D printing, and photography.

UI & VISUAL DESIGNER
CA Technologies
2000 – 2007
My responsible included producing UI designs, icon designs, along with style guides for a wide range of enterprise applications, such as disaster recovery, process automation, business intelligence, and security.
Some of my achievements include leading a team of designers to establish a company-wide digital assets library, a first for the company, which resulted in a unique patented process that not only ensured consistent icon usage across product lines, but it also provided development teams a means of efficiently populating software products with icons with a minimum amount of disruption to the software development process. This also benefited end-users in where it increased product usability and also reduced the product's learning curve. And as a by-product, this process helped reduce overall UI-related service calls.
